and/or the ILEUM. Symptoms include
ABDOMINAL PAIN

. Its pathogenesis is multifactorial.
Typhlitis
is often associated with
NEUTROPENIA
and chemotherapy in immunocompromised individuals (
IMMUNOCOMPROMISED HOST
).
